I was a full time working mom desperate to find time for the most important people in my life. My kids. I found that the time we had after work was usually spent doing chores and not much was left for quality time. The one time that I did find was around the kitchen, cooking and whipping up their favorite recipes, this was my way of destressing, and well...relaxing. Funny, I know. Then I decided to do what us moms know best, multitask. Well after the first cooking session I realized that it was no task at all, in fact it was amazing!

well, I guess I am a bit biased ;-)
I am now lucky enough to be a quasi stay at home mom (working while the kids are at school) & wife. In my spare time I love developing & testing recipes, catering, cooking, teaching, food photography, styling and of course writing and dreaming about food ;-D None of which I am trained professionally to do.
Except the dreaming part I guess.
This blog is a tribute to my passion and a way to connect with all of you. I have found that food has that kind of ability, to connect us not only to each other, but transcend us back in time to a place we've shared with someone we love.

This is me in the middle...way back then. This is how we did it, no party was small, there were never just a few guests and it was ALWAYS FUN... Family was the center of my universe, funny how little things have changed since then.
You will see my family in most of my posts (I do sneak off and have some "me" time though), sharing in MY and OUR food love memories, and helping make new ones.
